Humanists of Rhode Island to Volunteer during Reason Rally!

Our group is dedicated to community service projects because not only do we value our fellow human beings and want to make life better for everyone, we also want to demonstrate positive values to those who doubt that it is possible to be good without God(s). To that end we are delighted to have found a way to pursue our group's mission even as we enjoy the day at the largest freethought event in history:

Many members of our group who plan on attending Reason Rally this coming weekend will be volunteering to hand out information cards on the Official Charity of Reason Rally:

Event planner Sarah Hippolitus of WASH (Washington Area Secular Humanists) writes:
One Brick provides support to local non-profit and community organizations. One Brick volunteers slice and dice vegetables at DC Central Kitchen, help at adoption fairs with the Homeless Animal Rescue Center, cook dinner for families of hospitalized children staying at the Ronald McDonald House, exercise and bowl with developmentally delayed individuals of Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN), and assist over 140 other community organizations.
The Facebook event page can be found here.
